Fallout 4 1.As part of the conclusion to the Fallout series’ 25th anniversary celebrations, Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4 will be optimised for current-gen consoles in a free update releasing in 2023.

One of the fixes is for a problem where 'sneaking would turn player invisible while running with mods.' Some fixes for Fallout 4's mods program are also included, but these only pertain to Xbox One and PC because mod support is still not available on PS4. The patch also fixes an issue where companions would unequip clothing while fast-traveling with the player.

There are also a number of fixes included with Fallout 4 1.7, including one for a problem where some dog armor would not properly equip on Dogmeat. The update is coming to PlayStation 4 next week and when it arrives, players will be able to delete add-ons without performing a full uninstall. Update 1.7 adds support for the Nuka-World expansion ( which comes out on August 30), as well as an unspecified a new art type for stores in Workshop settlements. A new update is now available for Fallout 4 on Xbox One and PC.
